Boxing and shipping quality is very important to us here at Woodland Blinds. We use the best boxing and packing materials that are available to us. In addition, we continually monitor to ensure that our employees follow our stringent boxing procedures. Here is what you should expect on custom products shipped via UPS Ground :
· Blinds less than 28” - Boxes contain up to 4 blinds.
Blinds that are 28-1/8” and over - Up to 2 blinds per box.
· We box at least 2 blinds per box. Larger single blinds will be packed with 1 or 2 blinds that combine to a similar width to add stability.
· Orders up to 11 blinds - Hardware is packed with each blind
Orders over 11 blinds - Hardware is bulk packed in plastic and enclosed in one box. Box should be marked with a handwritten “H”.
· IB valances will be wrapped with each individual blind.
Orders with only 1 OB valance - Valance will be wrapped separately and packed around the appropriate blind.
Orders 2 or more OB valances - Valances will be packed together in a box marked with a handwritten “V”.
· Bubble wrap is used between blinds and at the end of each box.
· 2 endcaps are used on every box to keep the endcaps from popping out if the blinds shift during shipment. The 1st endcap is stapled as tight as possible to secure the blinds. The 2nd endcap is stapled to provide 1/2” cushion between the 2 endcaps.
· Boxes over 48” - 2 corner boards should be strapped on the outside of the box on the headrail side of the blinds.
· Boxes over 84” and all boxes with more than 2 blinds - 4 corner boards are strapped on the outside of the box.
· 2on1s, 3on1s and blinds over 60” - 2 corner boards are taped on the outside of the plastic wrapping on each side of the headrail.
· Please immediately inspect any boxes with tape on the outside of the box. UPS will repair damaged boxes with tape. We do not use tape on the outside of boxes.
