From the President: Woodland Blinds was able to successfully weather the storm of the Chapter 11 filing of our parent company, The Travis American Group. The ownership of Woodland Blinds was transferred to a management buyout group in a stock transfer transaction on April 25, 2003. Therefore, Woodland Blinds is again an independent company with no relationship to Travis-American or Advanced Component Specialists (ACS).
We began to purchase our wood component products from an alternate vendor over a year ago. The transition from vendors has been smooth with Woodland Blinds receiving improved service from the replacement vendor. Our entire senior management team with over 100 combined years of experience in the window covering industry is still intact at Woodland Blinds.
For us it is business as usual with the entire staff concentrating on accomplishing our mission statement:
"Shipping on time, complete and to specification; at a minimum cost in labor and materials".

Sample Selector Book Our new Sample Selector Book for Horizontal Blinds is almost complete. We will send each active customer a book within the next few weeks. This sample book will include our 4 selector decks: Wood, KingWood, 2.5” ShutterBlinds, and Crowned PVC. Valance samples, and cloth tape cuttings will also be included. All of these samples will be secured in a binder with an attractive 4 color cover that displays product and special feature information. These Sample Books will be available with our Sunrise Label or printed with your own Private Label information for a minimum order of 50 books. The cost will be $25 per sample book.
